BBVA Compass branches to host Amazon’s Treasure Truck
BBVA Compass is today announcing that some of its branches in Houston and Dallas will serve as offer day pick-up locations for Amazon’s Treasure Truck.
The news comes seven months after BBVA Compass announced a collaboration with Amazon to pilot its Locker program at 11 Austin, Texas-area branches, the first time the program was made available at a bank location. Today’s announcement also marks the first time a bank in the Southeast has been chosen as a location to host the Treasure Truck.
According to BBVA Compass Director of ATM Channel and Branch Strategy & Design Andres Cueto, this next phase of collaboration with Amazon underscores the bank’s desire to work with brands that are innovative, disruptive and interested in exploring new ways of doing business.
“BBVA Compass embraces innovation as an essential component of our own transformation,” Cueto said. “Extending our collaboration with Amazon to its Treasure Truck, says something about the kind of bank we want to be in the 21st century and beyond.”
